Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd is seeking professionals to join its Business Tax Advisory Service line in Colombo. You will advise on indirect taxes and emerging regulations, manage diverse client portfolios, and contribute to tax advisory services with strong communication and client interaction skills.

The ideal candidate holds an accounting, finance, or legal qualification and has 1–2 years of tax-related experience, with a proven ability to work independently in a high-demand

Qualifications

• Accounting, finance, or legal qualification required (CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, LLB).
• 1–2 years tax-related experience is an advantage.
• Experience in audit, assurance, tax due diligence, or tax advisory services would be an advantage.
• Ability to manage a diversified portfolio and work independently.
• Excellent English communication and client interaction skills.

Our Business Tax Advisory team is growing, and we're looking for driven individuals who are passionate about helping businesses navigate the complexities of taxation.

As part of our team,
you’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients advising on:

• Indirect taxes and emerging regulations

To qualify, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Possess an accounting, finance, or legal academic/professional qualification (CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, LLB. The combination of accounting and legal qualifications would be an added advantage)
• 1-2 years of experience in tax-related work would be an advantage
• Experience in audit, assurance, tax due diligence, or tax advisory services would be an advantage
• Have the ability to manage a diversifi ed portfolio of clients while working independently
• Possess technical capability, the ability to work under pressure, and a passionate attitude towards work
• Possess exceptional communication and client interaction skills in English
