Job summary

EY Colombo is seeking a Senior Executive for ACR Managed Services to join our global accounting outsourcing team. Based in Colombo, you will support end-to-end finance processes, regulatory compliance, and management reporting for UK and other international clients.

The role requires 4–7 years of experience in finance and accounting, excellent English, and readiness to work UK business hours (1pm–9pm). You will engage with clients directly and drive process improvements.

Join the EY Global Accounting Outsourcing Team

Join our global accounting outsourcing team and gain hands-on exposure to international accounting and finance operations across the UK and other global markets. The role involves supporting end-to-end finance processes, regulatory compliance, management reporting, and stakeholder engagement while working closely with overseas clients.

The work location for this role is to be based in the Colombo office of EY Sri Lanka.

We are looking for a Senior Executive with the following requirements and key responsibilities:

• Have 4 - 7 years of experience in finance and accounting
• Willing to work in UK business hours (1pm - 9pm)
• Ability to directly engage with international clients through one-to-one meetings, demonstrating confidence and professionalism in client-facing interactions
• Excellent communication skills with a strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Possess strong technical capability, dynamic teaming skills, the ability to work under pressure and a proactive, positive attitude towards work
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
• Take ownership of client deliverables and deadlines
• Exposure to US accounting, finance, or business practices will be considered as an added advantage
