Ausenco in Belo Horizonte is seeking a Senior Estimator Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals team. You will prepare CapEx and OpEx estimates for large-scale mining projects and coordinate with suppliers and disciplines.

The role involves building unit price components, analyzing commercial proposals, and applying FEL or similar methodologies to drive project development and execution. Strong interpersonal and multidisciplinary engineering experience are essential.

Qualificações

• Experience in CAPEX/OPEX for mining, metallurgy and infrastructure projects.
• Experience budgeting civil and assembly services.
• Knowledge of Budget Difference Indicator (BDI).
• Knowledge of taxation.
• Preparation of UPCs, incl. contingency, escalation and allowances for uncertainties.
• Commercial proposal analysis.
• Issuance of commercial evaluations of proposals.
• Knowledge of FEL methodology or similar for capital projects.
• Experience in preparing economic and financial disbursements for projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Best practices in strategic project management.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Experience with project implementation.

About The Role

• Responsible for preparing investment estimates (CapEx), operational costs (OpEx), and sustaining costs;
• Managing quotations and analyzing commercial proposals;
• Developing unit price compositions and serving as the interface with suppliers and other disciplines.

About You

• Experience in preparing CAPEX/OPEX for large-scale projects in mining, metallurgy, and infrastructure.
• Experience in preparing budgets for civil and assembly services.
• Analysis and preparation of BDI (Budget Difference Indicator).
• Knowledge of taxation.
