Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Quality Engineer to analyze field failures and facilitate problem-solving across products. You will coordinate technical analyses with cross-functional teams and communicate findings to customers.

You will support new product launches, line sustaining efforts, and drive CAPA using 8D reports while ensuring compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 and customer audits. The role requires strong analytical skills and a proactive improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics).
• Knowledge with quality engineering tools, SMT, PCBA assembly; bulk capacitor fabrication is a plus.
• Strong time management, organizational and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to challenge status quo and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sample analysis of returned products to identify causes of field failure and customer dissatisfaction.
• Coordinate technical analysis by cross-functional team and communicate to customers.
• Support Quality Engineer in product launch and line sustaining.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational quality issues.
• Monitor SPC trends, analyze KPIs, suggest improvements and escalate as needed.
• Prepare FTQ reports and scrap reports.
• Drive CAPA for 8D reports for internal and external.
• Support Quality Improvement projects, PPAP submission, Q-Plan development and audits (ISO/IATF 16949, customer audit).

• Co-ordinate technical analysis by cross-functional team and communicate to customers

• Support Quality Engineer in product launch and line sustaining

• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational quality issues

• SPC trend, analyze and monitor key performance indicators, suggest improvements, and escalation to supervisor/ management as necessary

• Prepare FTQ reports and scrap reports

• Drive and communicate CAPA for 8D reports for internal and external

• Support Quality Improvement projects, PPAP submission, Q-Plan development and planning and internal and external audits (ISO/IATF 16949, customer audit)

Requirements
