Job summary

Cencora is seeking a facilities & engineering professional in Brazil to oversee PLC programming, electrical infrastructure and temperature control systems for the World Courier network. You will develop procedures, manage budgets and collaborate with QA to meet global standards.

Requires a degreed engineer in Mechatronics/Automation or Electrical Engineering, strong software skills, and willingness to travel up to 10% for project execution and site support.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Full command of English (written and oral).
• Computer/PLC programming.
• Understanding of ABC policies, goals and financial oversight to protect assets.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance, electrical installation and temperature control.
• Attention to detail; strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead initiatives and take responsibility.
• Spanish language ability is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical documentation/manuals.

• Ensure compliance with ICH, GMP, FDA and local regulations and SOPs.
• Provide training on technical standards and equipment operation.
• Support facility design, construction, equipment purchases and expansion.
• Review service/equipment quotes and compare to alternatives.
• Collaborate with QA and Facilities/Engineering on projects.
• Be on-call for incidents; travel up to 10%.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Develop and review technical written procedures and electric equipment standards.
• Support project scopes, set timelines, and manage resources effectively.
• Computer/PLC programming.
• Provide support to World Courier network on following subjects: Infrastructure assessment, improvements and proposals of change.
• Temperature and humidity monitoring system installation, operation, maintenance, calibration and validation.
• Technical documentation/manuals.
• Budget and Capex estimations.
• Works closely with Global/local QA to assure Infrastructure and procedures follow current ICH, GMP and FDA Good Clinical Practices, local regulatory affairs, legal requirements and World Courier Standard Operating Procedures (or any other as required).
• Provide training in technical standards and equipment operation/maintenance.
• Support projects such as facility design, construction and improvements; equipment purchases and facility expansion.
• Review quotes of services a/or equipment related to area of expertise and provide comparison to similar services a/or equipment.
• Supports the Facilities and Engineering Department on execution of projects managed by other associates of the department.
• Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures, following its general instructions concerning the Depot and infrastructure of CSS Division.
• Be available for on‑call duty in case of incident which the stored products are at risk or any urgent matter.
• Flexibility and availability to travel as required (limited to 10% of the time).

Experience

Requires degree or final year in Mechatronic/Automation or Control/Electrical Engineering.

Work Experience

On PLC/computer programming, hardware integration, electrical infrastructure, maintenance management.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements

• Strong computer skills mandatory (Autodesk AutoCAD®, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Full command of English Language: written and oral skills
• Computer/PLC programming
• Understanding of ABC policies, philosophy, goals and objectives to affect financial oversight in protecting the company’s assets
• Have detailed knowledge about Facility maintenance, electric installation and temperature control
• Attention to details
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Be able to lead initiatives and take responsibilities
• Ability to communicate (spoken and written) in Spanish is desirable
