Descrição da oferta de emprego

  • The Engineering Analyst will be responsible for the strategic technical management of O&M, acting as a crucial link between office and field to ensure the reliability and efficiency of generation plants (PV plants and small hydro plants — UFV and CGH).
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and root-cause analysis of failures in critical electromechanical equipment (inverters, transformers, generators, turbines, protection and automation panels), proposing and validating definitive technical solutions.
  • Conduct technical validation of electromechanical projects during construction, ensuring compliance with the company's engineering standards and identifying inconsistencies prior to execution.
  • Oversee and supervise electrical/mechanical assembly stages, commissioning and testing of auxiliary systems, ensuring quality and adherence to protocols and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform regular technical site visits to collect data, diagnose performance issues and develop intervention plans, proactively recommending the best solution for each scenario.
  • Execute and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance, with practical mastery of electromechanical procedures, instrumentation and diagnostic tools.
  • Manage planning of critical materials and spare stocks, analyzing consumption and criticality curves to ensure availability of supplies and prevent unplanned outages.
  • Structure, monitor and technically validate Work Orders (WO), ensuring deadlines are met and field teams deliver excellent execution.
  • Prepare and review Maintenance Procedures (MPs), standardizing activities based on industry best practices and asset failure history.
  • Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans (MCP) and schedules, using prioritization logic based on asset criticality and impact on power generation.
  • Monitor and critically analyze performance KPIs (Availability, Performance, Generation, PR), interpret deviations, correlate root causes and propose effective corrective actions to optimize results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electrotechnical, Mechatronics Engineering or related fields (Civil Engineering will be considered with proven solid experience in electromechanical generation systems).
  • Proven hands‑on experience in O&M of power generation plants (photovoltaic and/or hydroelectric), with active field work — not solely office‑based activities.
  • Technical expertise in diagnosing and resolving failures in electromechanical equipment (inverters, transformers, generators, turbines, protection and automation panels).
  • Advanced analytical ability to interpret performance indicators (availability, performance, generation, PR), identify deviations, correlate root causes and propose corrective actions that impact generation.
  • Desirable: Certifications or additional courses in industrial maintenance, automation, protection systems or applied electromechanics.
