Orion Engineered Carbons Bondco GmbH is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize production, enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to drive improvements and support process changes.

The role emphasizes hands-on process monitoring, data-driven improvements, and leadership in continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifikationen

• Monitor and optimize production processes via DCS and utilities systems.
• Analyze process performance and implement improvements for safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) activities and MOC reviews.
• Provide technical support, coaching, and training to operations personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance plant performance and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to improve equipment reliability.
• Conduct field observations, investigate process deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Support process and product changes to meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
• Participate in emergency response activities and drills.

What You'll Do

• Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, including risk assessments and Management of Change (MOC) reviews
• Provide technical support, coaching, and training to operations personnel
• Drive continuous improvement projects that increase plant performance and reduce operational costs
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and asset effectiveness
• Conduct field observations, investigate process deviations, and implement corrective actions
• Prepare technical reports and communicate operational results to key stakeholders
• Support process and product changes to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements
• Participate in emergency response activities and plant emergency drills
