Luxoft is seeking entry-level engineers to contribute to the design, development, integration, and testing of a new local gateway box. You will work on embedded software in C, assist in system engineering, and help validate hardware-software integration for ECU communication.

The role emphasizes collaboration in an international environment with English at B2 level, prior internship in automotive software, and strong foundational knowledge of microcontrollers and RTOS.

Qualificações

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
• Proficiency in the C language.
• Basic knowledge of microcontrollers and RTOS.
• English at B2 Upper Intermediate — ability to collaborate in an international environment.
• Internship experience in automotive software/firmware preferred.

Are you passionate about the future of the automotive industry? We are looking for talented entry-level engineers to join our team working on the Design, Development, Integration, and Testing of a new local gateway box. This cutting-edge hardware is used in OEM mule vehicles, enabling seamless communication between Electronic Control Units (ECUs) across different E/E Architectures.

• Embedded Software Development: Write robust and efficient code in C.
• System Engineering: Write and manage system requirements for high-impact automotive projects.
• Documentation: Create clear, comprehensive software documentation.
• Testing & Validation: Assist the engineering team with product testing, integration, and validation.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Education: Final-year university student or recent graduate in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related engineering fields.
• Programming: Intermediate proficiency in the C Language.
• Hardware: Intermediate knowledge of Microcontrollers.
• OS Concepts: Basic understanding of FreeRTOS or similar Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Electronics: Basic knowledge of Digital Electronics.
• Language: English (B2 Upper Intermediate) — ability to collaborate in an international environment.
• Previous internship experience in the automotive industry (especially in software or firmware development).
• Academic or scientific research work focused on microcontrollers or programming.
• Active personal or university projects hosted on GitHub.
• Prior knowledge or exposure to CAN bus protocols.
