We are seeking an experienced Email and SMS Marketing Specialist with a proven track record in creating, optimizing, and analyzing high-performing campaigns. This role will focus on execution while collaborating with the Director of Marketing to ensure alignment with broader marketing goals. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, results-oriented, and possesses a growth mindset.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns using Twilio and SendGrid platforms.
- Manage list segmentation, personalization, and automation to improve audience engagement and retention.
- Track, analyze, and report on key campaign metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) to ensure continuous improvement.
- Implement A/B testing to optimize subject lines, content, send times, and CTAs.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. regulations, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA.
- Create and manage workflows for customer lifecycle stages (e.g., onboarding, re-engagement, retention).
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to create visually appealing and high-performing email and SMS templates.
- Work with the Director of Marketing to align campaign execution with overall marketing objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of dedicated experience in email and SMS marketing.
- Proficiency in Twilio and SendGrid platforms, with hands-on experience in building and managing campaigns.
- Deep understanding of list segmentation, automation, and personalization techniques.
- Strong analytical skills focused on improving KPIs and ROI.
- Knowledge of email and SMS compliance standards in Canada and the U.S.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and performance optimization.
- An experimental growth mindset, with the ability to test and iterate rapidly for results.
