Luxoft Brazil seeks an automotive electrical design engineer to develop wiring systems, create schematics and 2D/3D layouts for wiring harnesses, and define data and power routing between ECUs, sensors, actuators and HMIs.

The role requires strong knowledge of CAN, LIN and Ethernet, wire sizing and voltage drop calculations, protective concepts, and signal integrity considerations for ADAS/HPC applications.

Qualificações

• Understanding of voltage, current and power distribution.
• Understanding of signal types (analog, digital, high-speed data like Ethernet).
• Ability to calculate wire sizing and voltage drop.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN and Ethernet vehicle networks.
• Solid grounding in electrical fundamentals and wiring system design.
• Basic understanding of signal integrity related to ADAS/HPC.

Responsibilities:

• Design of Wiring Systems
• Creates schematics and 2D/3D layouts of wiring harnesses.
• Defines how electrical signals and power are routed between components (ECUs, sensors, actuators, HMIs, etc.).
• Ensures correct wire types, sizes, shielding, and insulation.

Mandatory Skills Description:

Understanding of:

• Voltage, current, power distribution
• Signal types (analog, digital, high-speed data like Ethernet)

Ability to:

• Calculate wire sizing and voltage drop
• Ensure correct fusing and protection concepts

Knowledge of:

• Vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) General requirement
