Sécheron Hasler Group is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in São Paulo, Brazil. You will actively participate in project kick-offs, review tender documents, and design electrical systems including SLDs and detailed schematics for railway and energy projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. On-site position with opportunities to contribute to innovation and patent ideas.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in project kick-off meetings with internal/external teams.
• Review tender documents against specs, Sécheron standards, and cost figures.
• Design electrical systems including single line diagrams and schematics.
• Create manufacturing documents for electrical parts.
• Support production during functional tests and customer FAT.
• Obtain customer approval for electrical designs with the project manager.
• Apply and update verification rules.
• Implement corrective actions from non-conformities.
• Archive files and coordinate with customers via the project manager.
• Research information for technology watch and patent ideas.

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in São Paulo, Brazil.

Main Tasks

• Actively participate in the Internal and/or external Kick-Off meeting of the projects you're in charge of.
• Check tenders documents on the basis of the customer's specifications, Sécheron specifications and cost calculations.
• Perform comprehensive Electrical Engineering such as Single Line Diagram and Detail Schematics.
• Produce manufacturing documents for electrical parts.
• Provide production support, especially during functional tests and customer FAT if requested.
• Participate in the approval by the customer of the electrical design, at the request of the project manager.
• Apply and evolve Record Verification Rules.
• Design and implement corrective actions from RNCs.
• Archive files and respond to customers (via project manager).
• Retrieve information for technology watch.
• Propose of ideas for possible patents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience, ideally in a similar field or in Transmission or Distribution of Energy.
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Languages: Portuguese (native/fluent), English (advanced), Spanish (advanced).
