About the Role

Position: Cloud Architect

Location: Mexico (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

Design and implement cloud solutions, lead customer discovery sessions, and guide cloud migration strategies. Engage with AWS teams and contribute to industry thought leadership. Travel approximately 25% for client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct discovery sessions to identify customer needs and define PoC opportunities.
2. Design and implement cloud prototypes using AWS, ensuring scalability and security.
3. Coordinate with AWS teams and stakeholders to align technology roadmaps.
4. Contribute to industry publications and conferences.
5. Educate customers on cloud-native architectures, DevOps, security, and networking.
6. Guide organizations through cloud migration and modern application development.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine operational models.

Requirements

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (mandatory)
• AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty Certification
• AWS Certified Database – Specialty Certification
• 7+ years in cloud architecture, solution development, and consulting
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM
• Proficiency in serverless, containerization, microservices architectures
• Experience with networking, security, compliance in AWS environments
• Strong communication skills for engaging technical and business stakeholders
