About the Role:

Role: Cloud Architect

Location: Mexico (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct discovery sessions to identify customer needs and define PoC opportunities.
• Design and implement cloud-based prototypes using AWS services, ensuring scalability, security, and best practices.
• Engage with AWS service teams, marketing, and professional services to align customer requirements with AWS technology roadmaps.
• Contribute to whitepapers, blogs, tutorials, and participate in industry conferences to provide thought leadership.
• Drive AWS service adoption by educating customers on cloud-native architectures, DevOps, security, and advanced networking principles.
• Guide organizations in cloud migration strategies and modern application development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine operational models and optimize delivery processes.
• Travel as needed (approximately 25%) to engage with clients and AWS stakeholders.

Requirements:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (Mandatory)
• AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty Certification
• AWS Certified Database – Specialty Certification
• 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, solution development, and technical consulting
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM
• Proficiency in modern application development, including serverless, containerization (EKS, ECS), and microservices architectures
• Experience with networking, security, compliance, and identity management in AWS environments
• Ability to develop low-fidelity prototypes and articulate frameworks and approaches effectively to customers
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage both technical and business stakeholders
