Job summary

NewPort Brazil is seeking an experienced export/shipping operations assistant to manage maritime bookings, drafts, and follow-ups with lines and customers. You will monitor all export stages through shipment and support documentation and clearance processes as needed.

Ideal candidates have intermediate/advanced English, strong MS Office skills, and a detail-oriented mindset focused on deadlines and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with maritime shipping operations from booking to export monitoring.
• Knowledge of export documentation and customs clearance is desirable.
• Experience issuing HBL/MBL.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong English.

• Coordinate maritime shipping operations from booking requests to shipment monitoring.
• Prepare drafts and follow up with shipping lines and customers.

• Experience with maritime shipping operations (booking requests via Intra, preparation of drafts, follow-up with shipping lines and customers, and monitoring all stages of the export process through shipment).
• Knowledge of the export process (export documentation and customs clearance – desirable).
• Knowledge of issuing House Bill of Lading (HBL) / Master Bill of Lading (MBL).
• Intermediate / advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Intermediate / advanced English.
• Detail-oriented, with strong attention to deadlines.
