This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Document AI/IDP Specialist in Latin America. In this role, you will leverage AI and intelligent document processing technologies to transform unstructured documents into structured, actionable data. You will design, implement, and optimize end-to-end document workflows, including OCR/ICR, ML-based extraction, and human-in-the-loop validation. Working with multi-format and multi-language documents, your contributions will directly enhance automation efficiency and accuracy. You will collaborate with technical teams to integrate solutions into ERP, CRM, and database systems, while continuously improving extraction performance through model fine-tuning. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge AI applications and drive tangible business impact across diverse industries.

Accountabilities

• Implement AI‑powered document understanding solutions to extract, classify, and process data from unstructured documents such as invoices, contracts, and forms
• Train and fine‑tune machine learning models for document classification and information extraction
• Configure and optimize OCR/ICR engines for high accuracy across various document types
• Develop end‑to‑end document processing pipelines and intelligent validation workflows
• Integrate document processing solutions with ERP, CRM, and database systems
• Ensure multi‑language and multi‑format support while improving model performance and extraction accuracy

Requirements

• Proven experience with Document Understanding platforms such as UiPath Document Understanding, Automation Anywhere IQ Bot, or Blue Prism Decipher
• Familiarity with cloud AI services including Azure Form Recognizer, Google Document AI, or AWS Textract
• Strong skills in Python, including libraries like OpenCV, Tesseract, spaCy, and ML techniques for text classification and NER
• Experience with data annotation, labeling tools, and data parsing using regular expressions
• Knowledge of data formats and structures such as JSON and XML
• Understanding of Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing applied to document processing
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment across Latin America
