TNS Automation Development is seeking a Platform Engineer to mature our DevOps processes and automation infrastructure. You will join a global team of Automation Developers, shaping platform management plans and driving network automation initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years in IT, strong communication skills, and a broad skill set including Python, AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and GitLab. The role collaborates with Security, NOC, and business units.

Qualificações

• Experience with SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and release management best practices.
• Software development and engineering background with network and software automation.
• Proficient in Python, AWS, Ansible, Terraform, and templating (Jinja/Django).
• Experience with containerization and monitoring platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Shape our DevOps Automation and AI journey.
• Own GitLab foundation: repo standards, pipelines, deployment, CI/CD optimization, testing coordination.
• Maintain health of automation/orchestration apps, plugins, pipelines, and functions.
• Define environment/infrastructure requirements for cloud, virtualized, and physical deployments.
• Document AI-assisted automation deployment standards and policies.
• Collaborate with Security/Risk teams to improve security posture.

Overview

TNS Automation Development is looking for a passionate, motivated Platform Engineer to join our global team of Automation Developers and mature our devOps processes and automation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience mapping, building, implementing, and maintaining platform management plans, great communication skills, and a passion for network automation. We’d prefer someone with 10-15 years in IT who adds a wide set of skills to our own.

The Platform Engineer Will:

• Help us shape our DevOps Automation and AI journey;
• Own our GitLab foundation including
  • Standards around repo creation, pipelines, and deployment.
  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
  • Standardize and coordinate unit, integration, and security testing.
  • Plan, coordinate, publicize, and monitor application releases and updates.
• Maintain the health and stability of our automation and orchestration applications, plugins, pipelines, and functions.
• Define and document environment and infrastructure requirements, in particular around cloud, virtualized, and physical deployments.
• Define and document patterns and policies for safe use and deployment of AI-assisted automation, including but not limited to infrastructure, architecture, and deployment standards.
• Work with Security and Risk teams to continuously assess our security posture.
  

The position will require interaction with internal teams (Global Systems, NOC, and stakeholders in the Business Units) for requirements gathering and deployment coordination.

• Nautobot / NetBox or other network management tool

Education

• BA/BS in Computer Science or IT related field (or equivalent experience)
• DevOps certified (AWS or Azure)
