TNS Automation Development is seeking a passionate Platform Engineer to join our global team and mature our DevOps processes and automation infrastructure. You will map, build, implement, and maintain platform management plans, communicating effectively and driving network automation initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years in IT, plus broad skills across SDLC, CI/CD, Python, AWS, and automation tools.

Qualificações

• SDLC and CI/CD pipelines are required.
• Release management and best practices are required.
• Software development and engineering experience is required.
• Network and software automation experience is required.
• Monitoring platforms experience is a plus (Netreo a plus).
• Proficiency in Python is required.
• Experience with AWS is required.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform is required.
• Experience with Jinja and Django is required.
• Docker and containerization experience is required.

Responsabilidades

• Shape our DevOps Automation and AI journey.
• Own our GitLab foundation: repo standards, pipelines, deployment.
• Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Standardize and coordinate unit, integration, and security testing.
• Plan, coordinate, publicize, and monitor releases and updates.
• Maintain health and stability of automation/orchestration applications.
• Define environment and infrastructure requirements (cloud, virtualized, physical).
• Document patterns and policies for AI-assisted automation use and deployment.

Overview

TNS Automation Development is looking for a passionate, motivated Platform Engineer to join our global team of Automation Developers and mature our devOps processes and automation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience mapping, building, implementing, and maintaining platform management plans, great communication skills, and a passion for network automation. We’d prefer someone with 10-15 years in IT who adds a wide set of skills to our own.

The Platform Engineer Will:

• Help us shape our DevOps Automation and AI journey;
• Own our GitLab foundation including
  • Standards around repo creation, pipelines, and deployment.
  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
  • Standardize and coordinate unit, integration, and security testing.
  • Plan, coordinate, publicize, and monitor application releases and updates.
• Maintain the health and stability of our automation and orchestration applications, plugins, pipelines, and functions.
• Define and document environment and infrastructure requirements, in particular around cloud, virtualized, and physical deployments.
• Define and document patterns and policies for safe use and deployment of AI-assisted automation, including but not limited to infrastructure, architecture, and deployment standards.
• Work with Security and Risk teams to continuously assess our security posture.

The position will require interaction with internal teams (Global Systems, NOC, and stakeholders in the Business Units) for requirements gathering and deployment coordination.
