Resumo da oferta

Blacksmith Agency is looking for a senior Design Systems Lead to own client design systems across multiple brands. You will extract patterns from brands and reference sites into a token-driven system that a build pipeline can execute with precision.

This is a senior, systems-first role, remote from Latin America, requiring strong English and overlap with US business hours. You will stand up scalable systems quickly and work across several brands at once.

Qualificações

• 4+ years designing for the web with design-system work in portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, components, auto layout, and variants.
• A portfolio showing work across client brands with consistent structural rigor.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming.
• Ship core component libraries that hold up across an entire site.
• Document the system so a developer or pipeline can execute it.
• Work across several client brands with the same structural rigor.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency builds websites and marketing programs for clients across the US. As Design Systems Lead at Blacksmith, you own how our client design systems get built. You take a brand and a few reference sites, then extract the pattern into a working system: tokens, variables, modes, and core components a build pipeline can execute without asking you questions. Precision is the job.

This is a senior, systems-first seat. Not one-off pages, not maintenance. You stand up new systems fast and get them right the first time, across several client brands at once.

• Design
• Full time
• Remote (Latin America)

What You Will Own

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming our pipeline can read predictably.
• Ship core component libraries that hold up across an entire site, not just a homepage.
• Document the system so a developer or an automated pipeline can execute it without questions.
• Work across several client brands at once, each looking distinctly different, with the same structural rigor.

What You Bring

• 4+ years designing for the web, with real design system work in your portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout, and variants. Actual architecture, not just tidy files.
• A portfolio where the work looks different from client to client but the rigor underneath is the same.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.
