Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Design Systems Lead to own how client design systems are built. You will convert brands and reference sites into scalable tokens, variables, modes, and core components that a build pipeline can execute with precision.

This senior, systems-first role requires delivering fast, consistent systems across multiple client brands, with a strong emphasis on architecture, documentation, and collaboration with design and development teams.

Qualificações

• 4+ years designing for the web with real design system work in portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout, and variants.
• Portfolio showing work across clients with consistent rigor.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming our pipeline can read predictably.
• Ship core component libraries that hold up across an entire site, not just a homepage.
• Document the system so a developer or an automated pipeline can execute it without questions.
• Work across several client brands at once, each looking distinctly different, with the same structural rigor.
