About The Job

As a Data Scientist, you will leverage data intelligence and machine learning to analyze Big Data and generate detailed insights on products and users. You will play a key role in developing data-driven solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze and explore large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
2. Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to support decision-making.
3. Process, clean, and transform large-scale data efficiently.
4. Build and optimize machine learning models, including neural networks and recommendation systems.
5. Ensure the deployment and scalability of data-driven solutions.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business objectives.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement by implementing best practices in data engineering and machine learning.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
2. 2+ years of experience in data science and machine learning.
3. Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
4. Experience developing and deploying machine learning models.
5. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
6. Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS (S3, EC2, IAM, SageMaker).
7. Understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
8. Experience working with version control systems (Git).
9. Strong grasp of data lake and data warehouse concepts.
10. Higher English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 3+ years of experience in data science and big data analytics.
2. Experience with NoSQL databases and distributed computing.
3. Proficiency in Scala or another functional programming language.
4. Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS Lambda, VPC, SNS, SQS, and RDS.
5. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated model deployment.
6. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
7. Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, or Apache Spark.
8. Intermediate proficiency in Spanish.
