IFF is seeking a Data Scientist to turn data into actionable insights that enhance planning performance and business outcomes. You will develop forecasting and predictive analytics, analyze demand patterns, and drive improvements in forecast accuracy.

You will design dashboards, collaborate with Demand Planning, Commercial, and IT, and deliver end-to-end analytical solutions that support strategic growth.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Proven experience delivering analytical solutions with measurable value.
• Proficiency with Python or R for analysis and modeling.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and enhance forecasting, predictive analytics, and decision-support solutions.
• Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, market trends to generate insights.
• Drive forecast accuracy by identifying bias and recommending process changes.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and KPIs for data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Commercial, Supply Planning, IT and stakeholders.
• Prepare, validate, and analyze large datasets for forecasting and scenario planning.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain ML models addressing business needs.
• Support end-to-end project delivery from discovery to knowledge transfer.
• Evaluate new technologies and automation for long-term value.

Where You'll Make a Difference

Develop and enhance forecasting, predictive analytics, and decision-support solutions that improve planning performance and business outcomes.

Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, market trends, and key business drivers to generate actionable insights.

Drive forecast accuracy improvements by identifying sources of bias and recommending process enhancements.

Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, key performance indicators, and analytical tools that support data-driven decision making.

Partner with Demand Planning, Commercial, Supply Planning, Information Technology, and external stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical solutions.

Prepare, validate, and analyze large, complex datasets to support forecasting, scenario planning, and performance management activities.

Develop, test, deploy, and maintain statistical and machine learning models that address business needs and improve planning capabilities.

Support end-to-end project delivery, including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, adoption, and knowledge transfer.

Evaluate emerging technologies, analytical methodologies, and automation opportunities that can drive continuous improvement and long-term business value.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering analytical solutions that generate measurable business value.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting methodologies, and predictive modeling techniques.
• Experience developing and implementing machine learning models in a business environment.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), data management, and data preparation practices.
• Experience using data visualization and reporting tools to communicate insights effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience supporting Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning processes.
• Knowledge of demand forecasting platforms, supply chain planning systems, or advanced analytics technologies.
