Join us as a Data Engineer at Brick Abode

We are seeking a responsible and proactive Data Engineer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, with experience in Python, PostgreSQL, SQL, ETL, and cloud integration, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Handling data processing and pipeline development using Python and DataFrames (Pandas or similar).
• Managing database operations with PostgreSQL, including data loading, validation, and filtering.
• Implementing cloud integrations, especially with AWS S3.
• Ensuring code quality and CI/CD practices for data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, SQL, and ETL processes.
• Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS ecosystem.
• Familiarity with DataFrames (Pandas or similar).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Academic background (MSc or PhD) is a plus.
