• Knowledge of Central Bank regulations for payment institutions and credit entities and their reporting obligations.
• Fluent English; daily collaboration with international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own the daily cash position and liquidity of the credit operation, including funding of disbursements and settlements.
• Manage the credit funds and lending entity from treasury: capital structure, loan assignments, returns and reserves; liaise with banks and custodians.
• Run and improve daily reconciliations across transactional, accounting and fund-flow data; track KPIs and fix root causes.
• Design fund and information flows for new credit products and features; write business requirements for product/engineering teams.
• Prepare treasury for new financial institutions: deposits, reserve requirements and back-office SOPs.
• Lead monthly closings for lending and monthly liquidity/management reports for local and global leadership.
• Prepare regulatory reports and respond to Central Bank, auditors and due diligences.

About The Team/role

99Pay's credit business is growing fast, with a large volume of daily transactions and a portfolio spread across different credit products and funding structures. The Credit Portfolio Treasury Manager owns the daily control of this portfolio and of the money that funds it: cash flows and capital structure of the credit funds, liquidity management, settlement and reconciliation between operational, accounting and banking records, and regulatory reporting. The role works with local and international teams across product, engineering, legal, compliance, accounting and finance to design flows, controls and procedures that make the operation more efficient and less risky, and manages the relationship with banks, fund administrators and other partners. It is a chance to build the treasury of a credit operation at scale, reporting directly to the Director of Treasury and Customer Fund Management at 99Pay.

In this role, you'll be...

• Owning the daily cash position and liquidity of the credit operation: funding of disbursements, repayment and settlement accounts, cash forecast, contingency plan and real‑time balance alarms.
• Managing the credit funds and the lending entity from the treasury side: capital structure, assignment of loans, returns and reserves, and the relationship with banks, fund administrators, custodians and servicers.
• Running and improving the daily reconciliations: transactional (disbursement, assignment, repayment, renegotiation), accounting (every transaction correctly booked) and fund flow (bank movements matched to operational figures), tracking KPIs and fixing root causes.
• Designing the fund and information flows of new credit products and features (instalment plans, Pix credit, renegotiation, insurance, coupons and refunds), and writing the business requirements for product and engineering teams.
• Preparing the treasury for a new financial institution: term deposit operation, deposit guarantee fund and reserve requirement processes, back‑office structure, procedures and SOPs.
• Leading the monthly closing of the lending business and the monthly liquidity and management reports for local and global leadership.
• Preparing regulatory reports and answering the Central Bank, auditors and due diligences.
• Defining and maintaining treasury policies, controls and SOPs, and overseeing the accounting integration as the core systems are replaced.
• Working daily with product, engineering, risk, legal, compliance, accounting and finance teams in Brazil and abroad.
• Leading a team of two analysts.

We're eager to be in touch because you have...

• 6+ years in treasury, credit operations or fund management, at least 3 of them in a fintech, bank, lender or fund administrator.
• Hands‑on experience with credit funds (FIDC): capital structure, assignment of receivables, fund flows and the daily relationship with administrators, custodians and servicers.
• Strong background in reconciliation and accounting of financial transactions, including root‑cause analysis and month‑end closing.
• Knowledge of Central Bank regulation for payment institutions and credit entities (SCD, SCFI) and of their reporting obligations.
• Comfort analysing large transaction volumes;
• Experience working with product and engineering teams on financial systems and flows.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or business; a master's degree is a plus.
• Fluent English, used daily with international teams.
• People management experience and the ability to run several projects at once.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented and results‑driven, with a strong sense of control and asset protection.
