Job Description

• Supervise, train, and develop the accounting, finance, and cost team.
• Lead the accounting and tax closing process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reports
• Ensure that company complies with tax laws, accounting standards (BRGAAP and IFRS), and act as a point of contact with internal and external auditors.
• Analyze financial data, reconcile records, and prepare reports
• Identify opportunities for improvement and automate processes in the controllership area to increase efficiency.
• General ledger account analysis to identify discrepancies and support financial decision-making.
• Ensure Payables and Receivables on time

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in supervisory or leadership roles within finance or accounting teams
• Familiarity with financeial reporting, budgeting and compliance
• IFRS knowledge is a plus
