AUMOVIO is seeking an experienced project manager to lead automotive software/hardware programs. You will plan, coordinate, and track deadlines, define deliverables, and align multiple departments to meet customer expectations in global projects.

Responsibilities include risk management, status reporting, and client negotiations, with a focus on traceability and release planning. English fluency and multicultural collaboration are essential to success.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate project deadlines, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Define required deliverables according to the development process, assign to departments, monitor progress, and review results.
• Manage project issues, select stakeholders, moderate problem-solving meetings, decide on solution strategy, and plan implementation.
• Coordinate project content and progress with the client (on-site or virtually), negotiate technical aspects and work package scopes to achieve win-win results.
• Review and evaluate customer requirements, discuss and negotiate with all stakeholders involved.
• Create and ensure traceability of customer requirements in component requirements documents.
• Define test scope and concept in coordination with stakeholders within Continental (test department, test labs).
• Commission the creation of test plans and coordinate/negotiate with the customer.
• Create test status and risk assessments for release milestones.
• Report test results to the customer; negotiate if deviations occur.
• Set release dates considering milestones and development process.
• Complete release checklist and provide risk assessment for maturity deviations.
• Review and approve release documentation.
• Set up project plan, track progress, and define corrective actions if needed.
• Control project budget and resources.
• Decide, report, and escalate overall project status (financial and quality KPIs).
• Represent project in customer meetings.
• Lead team members functionally and assign work packages.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and foster teamwork within the project.

Job Description

Main activities

• Planning and coordinating project deadlines and monitoring progress
• Defining required deliverables according to the development process, assigning these deliverables to the relevant departments, monitoring progress, and reviewing results
• Managing project issues, selecting necessary stakeholders, moderating problem-solving meetings, deciding on the solution strategy, and planning and tracking implementation
• Coordinating project content and progress with the client (on-site or virtually), negotiating technical aspects and work package scopes with the client to achieve win-win results
• Review and evaluation of customer requirements, discussion and negotiation with all stakeholders involved within AUMOVIO (development departments, quality assurance, etc.) and with the customer
• Creation and ensuring the traceability of customer requirements in the component requirements documents
• Project-specific definition of the test scope and test concept in coordination with the relevant stakeholders within Continental (test department, test labs)
• Commissioning the creation of test plans and discussion, coordination, and negotiation with the customer
• Creation of the test status and a risk assessment for the release milestones
• Reporting of test results to the customer; discussion/negotiation with the customer in the event of deviations of the test results from the requirements
• Setting release dates, taking into account customer milestones, system project milestones, and the development process
• Completing the release checklist and providing a risk assessment in case of product maturity deviations from the development process
• Reviewing and approving the release documentation
• Setup project plan, track the project progress, and define corrective measures if deviating from the plan
• Control project budget and resources
• Decide, report the overall project status (financial and quality KPIs), and escalat issues if necessary
• Represent project in customer (internal/external) meetings
• Lead the team members functionally, and assign work packages to the respective project team members
• Actively manage stakeholder expectations
• Help build up a supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork within the project
