The Blue Barrel Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Contracts Officer to oversee commercial and contractual aspects of the main contract and subcontracts, reporting to the Project Manager and/or Department Head. You will manage risk, support the project through all stages, and drive process improvements in contract management.

Responsibilities include handling contractual claims and disputes, engaging stakeholders, and applying analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualificações

• Degree in Built Environment or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of PSSCOC; familiarity with SIA, REDAS and NEC is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract negotiation, administration and management.
• High integrity, dependability, urgency, and results orientation.

Responsibilities:

The Contracts Officer is responsible for overseeing commercial and contractual aspects related to the main contract and subcontracts, managing any commercial and contractual risk relating to the project. He/ She reports to the Project Manager and/ or the Department Head.

• Provides contractual support to the project through all stages: construction, subcontracting, completion and hand-over.
• Proactively engages in continuous improvement and review of existing processes, systems and policies that may support the project’s contract management and administration.
• Manages contractual claims, disputes, settlements and resolution
• Possesses interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders, thinks strategically and critically, exercising judgement after consideration for all aspects.
• Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

• Degree in the Built Environment or related fields.
• Must be conversant and have in-depth knowledge of PSSCOC. Familiarity with SIA, REDAS, and NEC would be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration and management.
