SAS is seeking a Consulting Operations Specialist to design, develop, and support enterprise reporting solutions and automated workflows for Global Consulting. You will partner with multiple functions to enhance operational analytics, governance, and reporting accuracy.

The role emphasizes global stakeholder engagement, automation using SAS Visual Analytics, Power Platform, VBA, and API integrations, with a hybrid work model across regions. English/Spanish/Portuguese proficiency is valuable.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in consulting operations, reporting and analytics, business intelligence, or related operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience building dashboards, KPI reports, scorecards, or executive reporting packages for stakeholders.
• Experience with SAS Visual Analytics, Microsoft Power Automate, Advanced Excel, VBA, Power Apps, SAS programming, Python, REST APIs, Jira, or Azure Data Services.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise reporting solutions and executive reporting packages for Global Consulting operations.
• Develop reporting for project delivery performance, timecard compliance, utilization, forecasting, backlog, and governance.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations and automate manual reporting using tools like SAS Visual Analytics, Power Automate, Power Apps, VBA/Excel, and APIs.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data consolidation, transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve global operational processes.
• Support governance, intake, prioritization, change control, and adoption of global reporting standards.
• Present analytics insights, project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders; build trusted relationships across teams.
• Ensure secure software development practices and compliance with security policies.

About The Job

The Global Automation & Reporting (GAR) team is looking for a Consulting Operations Specialist, Automation & Analytics to design, develop, and support business-critical reporting solutions, automated workflows, and operational analytics for Global Consulting. Our team drives operational excellence through automation, reporting, analytics, and process optimization across a global consulting organization.

You will join a highly visible global team that is transforming how Global Consulting operates. In this role, you will help leaders make better decisions, reduce administrative workload, improve reporting accuracy, and support adoption of global processes and standards while partnering with Consulting Operations, PMO, RMO, Finance, Business Operations, IT, and Consulting Leadership teams.

As a Consulting Operations Specialist, You Will

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise reporting solutions, dashboards, scorecards, KPI reporting, and executive reporting packages for Global Consulting operations.
• Develop and support reporting for project delivery performance, on-time/on-budget delivery, timecard compliance, utilization, forecasting, backlog management, resource management, revenue analysis, and operational governance.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations and automate manual reporting or operational processes using tools such as SAS Visual Analytics, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, VBA/Excel automation, workflow platforms, and API-based integrations.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes, including data consolidation, transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and corrective actions for data quality issues.
• Partner with Consulting Operations, PMO, RMO, Finance, Business Operations, IT, and Consulting Leadership to gather requirements, design solutions, and improve global operational processes.
• Support governance processes, intake management, prioritization, change control, documentation, user guides, training materials, and adoption of global reporting standards.
• Present recommendations, analytics insights, project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, while building trusted relationships across global teams.
• Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in consulting operations, reporting and analytics, business intelligence, business process automation, data management, or a related operational discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience developing dashboards, KPI reports, scorecards, executive reporting packages, or operational analytics for business stakeholders.
• Experience with reporting, automation, data management, or ETL tools such as SAS Visual Analytics, Microsoft Power Automate, Advanced Microsoft Excel, VBA/Excel macros, Power Apps, SAS programming, Python, REST APIs, Jira, or Azure Data Services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English / Spanish / Portuguese), including the ability to engage with global stakeholders and explain technical or operational concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting consulting operations, professional services operations, PMO, resource management, finance operations, or global business operations.
• Experience developing reports or dashboards in SAS Visual Analytics or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Experience designing automation workflows using Microsoft Power Platform, VBA/Excel macros, or API-based integrations.
• Experience working with global teams and stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
