McKinsey & Company is seeking a highly skilled consultant to join our team in São Paulo. The role involves working in small teams to help clients transform their businesses across various industries. You will gather and analyze data, develop recommendations, and present them to clients.

The ideal candidate holds an Engineering degree, possesses proven experience in Bio-X and business management, and demonstrates exceptional problem-solving and quantitative skills. Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Masters, MBA, PhD with Engineering background (Chemical, Geology, Geoscience, Industrial).
• Proven experience with Bio‑X, Ethanol and business management.
• Strong logical reasoning and creative thinking skills.

Your Impact

You will work in teams of typically 3–5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of client engagement. You will help clients to change industries, transform business models, and create competitive advantages. We advise some of the largest, most innovative companies in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, metals and mining, telecommunications, retail, banking and finance. As part of your daily work you will gather and analyze information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You will present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.

You will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on their teams. You will also receive close guidance and support from your local office or practice in the selection of client projects, helping you to develop your skills and build your network.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Masters, MBA, PhD with Engineering background (Chemical, Geology, Geoscience, Industrial)
• Proven experience with Bio‑X, Ethanol and business management
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills with the ability to untangle complex issues
