Hexora Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Commission Technician to join our North Region engineering team on a full-time basis. You will oversee the commissioning process of complex systems and work with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards, ensuring equipment is installed and operational.

You will perform startup, loop checks, and witness commissioning activities, verify signals and documentation, and support system turnover.

Qualificações

• Engineering/maintenance or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience as Commission Technician or similar in engineering/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems commissioning procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Startup, loop check and commissioning support for Facilities Controls systems.
• Verify instrument signals, I/O points, control panels, cable terminations and field-device readiness.
• Test FMCS systems (PLC, Instrumentation, SCADA, LSS, FAS, PA, RMS) and related alarms/feedback.
• Support functional testing, integrated system testing, SAT/commissioning checklist, turnover activities.
• Assist with punch-list creation, follow-up, closure verification and evidence compilation.

About the role

Hexora Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Commission Technician to join our growing engineering team in the North Region on a full-time basis. This is a key position within our maintenance and commissioning operations, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment and systems are properly installed, tested, and brought into operational readiness. As a Commission Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of complex engineering systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards. This role is essential to our ability to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• 1) Startup, Loop Check and Commissioning Support

  a. Support loop check execution and witnessing for Facilities Controls systems.

  b. Support instrument signal verification, I/O point-to-point verification, control panel inspection, cable termination check and field-device readiness verification.

  c. Support FMCS systems (PLC, Instrumentation, SCADA, Life Safety System (LSS), Fire Alarm (FAS), Public Address (PA), Remote Monitoring System (RMS)) testing including alarm, status, command, permissive, interlock and feedback verification where applicable.

  d. Support functional testing, integrated system testing, SAT/commissioning checklist execution and system turnover activities.

  e. Support punch-list creation, follow-up, closure verification and evidence compilation.

What we’re looking for

• A recognised technical qualification in engineering, maintenance, or a related discipline (such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

• Proven experience as a Commission Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role within the engineering or manufacturing sector

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems commissioning procedures

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and commissioning equipment

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical faults

• Strong communication abilities, with capability to liaise effectively with clients and technical teams

• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining comprehensive commissioning documentation

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Physical capability to work on site, including lifting and working at heights where necessary

• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the North Region

• Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations and industry best practice standards
