Yinson is seeking an Offshore Instrument Technician to maintain, repair and calibrate instrument systems aboard the FPSO, ensuring uninterrupted operation. The role requires compliance with PTW, safety procedures, and involvement in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

You will perform routine safety tests, monitor process instrumentation, and support SEIT/EIT with back-up duties while coordinating with stores for parts and spares.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, repair and calibrate all instrument systems.
• Know and maintain Emergency Shutdown and Fire and Gas Detection systems.
• Follow PTW system, rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to responsibilities.
• Take supportive role as backup personnel to SEIT and EIT.
• Check and record status on all process field instrumentation.
• Liaise with Storekeeper and PSUP for spare parts stock and purchasing as needed.
• Assist in maintenance of various safety and alarm systems in the unit.
• Carry out routine safety tests and checks on equipment.
• Perform condition monitoring and troubleshooting of Instrument and assist on Metering/Electrical/ICSS systems.
• Maintain Ex rating of electrical equipment as per design.
• Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Undertake training relevant to position requirements.
• On-the-job-training of colleagues and trainees.
• Carry out duties per Emergency Response Plan.

• Responsible for checking and recording of status on all process field instrumentation
• Liaise with Storekeeper and PSUP for spare parts stock and necessary purchasing
• Assist in maintenance of various safety and alarm systems in whole unit
• Carry out routine safety tests and checks on equipment as required.

Furthermore, the Instrument Technician must perform the work required by his superior and perform tasks according to company procedures, including administrative or operational tasks.
