A luxury hotel group is seeking a Chefe de Turno to oversee front desk operations and guest services at Hotel das Cataratas. You will manage daily arrivals, supervise teams, and ensure warm hospitality. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of supervisory experience and strong English skills. Overview

As Chefe de Turno, you will ensure excellence in front desk operations and guest services, adhering to the quality standards of Belmond and the Hotel das Cataratas. You will promote warm, efficient, and impeccable hospitality, supervise the front desk and concierge teams, and foster a harmonious, high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Track and organize daily arrivals and departures; review reservations and VIP guest requests; coordinate processes with other departments such as Housekeeping and Room Service; ensure requests and amenities are delivered within set deadlines.
• Supervise lobby operations, cash handling, and front desk records, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.
• Guide the team in upholding posture, communication, and hospitality standards; support the manager with shifts, training, and maintaining a positive organizational climate.
• Act as a reference in special situations (emergencies or VIP guest demands) while maintaining discretion and courtesy.
• In the absence of leadership, represent the Front Desk and make decisions to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Higher education completed, preferably in Hotel Management, Tourism, or related fields
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in front desk supervision
• Fluent English (other languages considered an advantage)
• Knowledge of front desk operational and administrative processes
• Knowledge of Infor system is a plus
• Leadership, empathy, and proactivity
• Strong attention to detail, solution-focused, and problem-solving skills
• Availability and flexibility of hours
