Job Description:

The CFO Group is currently looking for an associate to join the Latin America Business Finance team in Brazil.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize thorough knowledge and understanding of product, process, and inherent risk related to the Latin America markets;
2. Prepare analysis and perform critical testing and calculations in support of the LATAM LCT Line of Business;
3. Produce financial reporting and disclosures;
4. Calculate valuation adjustments, analyze market depth and liquidity for determination of fair value;
5. Contribute to month-end close and periodic analysis;
6. Interact with Front Office and support groups.

Core skills and requirements:

1. At least 3 years of experience in Finance, Product Control, Market Risk, or Middle-Office in Investment Banks;
2. Deep knowledge of financial products: FX & IR Derivatives, Bonds, and Options;
3. Understanding of Latin America global markets dynamics and products;
4. Graduated in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related fields;
5. High numeracy and proficiency in financial mathematics;
6. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to make sound and independent judgments under rapidly changing and often stressful environments;
7. Fluency in English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus;
8. Strong Excel skills. Alteryx is desirable;
9. Highly motivated, proactive, self-starter, multi-tasker, and committed to completing tasks;
10. Team player with multicultural sensitivity and an analytical mindset for interactions with peers in other countries and divisions.
