Street Diligence is a high-growth FinTech start-up headquartered in New York, founded in 2012. Our platform helps leading financial institutions analyze and negotiate legal and financial contracts by breaking down key terms, identifying market and off-market terms, and flagging embedded risks. We also provide visualizations, benchmarking, and contextual comparisons.

The Role

We are seeking a Finance Leader to join our team in a fully remote position. This individual will work closely with the CEO to prepare and automate financial reports, classify accounting transactions, and oversee various financial operations including:

• Financial modeling, forecasting, and strategy
• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable
• Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Handling accrued and prepaid expenses
• Managing cash flow and incentives
• Overseeing employee expenses and reimbursements
• Preparing monthly sales tax returns
• Publishing financial statements

What You'll Bring

• Experience as an Accountant
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
• Experience with general ledger and monthly closing processes
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Desired Qualifications

• CPA certification is a plus
