Novo Nordisk Brazil is seeking a Business Finance Manager to help the affiliate turn financial performance into clear decisions. You will manage and forecast Sales and P&L, lead budgeting and rolling forecasts, and align Commercial and Supply Chain teams around key numbers.

The role emphasizes risk/opportunity spotting and actionable insights. You will partner with senior stakeholders, drive financial planning cycles, and deliver monthly insights and business cases.

Qualifications

• Solid professional experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Financial Planning or similar finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of P&L management, financial planning, forecasting and performance management.
• Ability to understand business and market dynamics and translate them into financial implications.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience developing financial models, business cases and management reporting.
• Strong business partnering, communication and influencing skills, including with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform in a dynamic business environment.
• Advanced or fluent English.
• Useful, but not essential: Experience in a multinational environment.
• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry.
• Candidates from other dynamic industries, including FMCG and consumer goods, are equally welcome.

• Manage and forecast Sales and P&L performance with understanding of drivers.
• Lead financial planning processes including Anchor Budget, Rolling Estimates and other forecasting cycles.
• Take an active role in the S&OP process linking sales forecasts, demand and supply assumptions, market dynamics and financial outcomes.
• Monitor monthly performance, identify deviations, risks and opportunities, and recommend actions.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial insights for local and regional leadership, translating complex information into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Develop ad hoc analyses and business cases to support commercial and strategic decisions on pricing, profitability, investments and opportunities.
• Provide indirect leadership and guidance, leveraging support from GBS and Graduate colleagues.

• Take an active role in the S&OP process, linking sales forecasts, demand and supply assumptions, market dynamics and financial outcomes.
• Monitor monthly performance, identify key deviations, risks and opportunities, and recommend the actions needed.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial insights for local and regional leadership, translating complex information into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Develop ad hoc analyses and business cases that support commercial and strategic decisions on pricing, profitability, investments and business opportunities.
• Provide indirect leadership and guidance, making the most of support from Global Business Services (GBS) and Graduate colleagues.

In Finance, Legal & Global Solutions, colleagues safeguard the business, provide corporate infrastructure and help create value so Novo can deliver on its purpose. As Business Finance Manager, you will be the finance partner for the Brazil Affiliate, working with local and regional leadership. Your closest partners will be colleagues in Commercial, Supply Chain, Pricing and Data Insights. You will bring financial expertise and constructive challenge to their assumptions, so decisions are grounded in the same view of the numbers. You will also work with GBS and Graduate colleagues who support your analyses and reporting. This is an individual contributor role with significant business exposure and influence. It does not currently include direct people management, but it does call for strong indirect leadership. The role follows a hybrid working model, with three days per week in the office.
