Jobgether is seeking an experienced Backend NestJS Developer to maintain and enhance a live microservices platform in a fully remote role for candidates based in Latin America. You will own production issues, add value through feature development, and collaborate with product and QA teams to ensure reliability and data integrity.

Competenze

• Proven ability to take ownership of technical problems from initial bug reports or change requests through testing, deployment, and resolution.
• Production experience building and maintaining backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with NestJS or a comparable structured backend framework, including modules, controllers, services, dependency injection, and middleware.
• Solid understanding of REST and HTTP fundamentals, including service-to-service communication, API contracts, versioning, and error handling.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly writing and reviewing PostgreSQL queries and following safe database migration practices.
• Proven ability to debug distributed systems involving multiple services, using logs and metrics to identify root causes rather than symptoms.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization patterns, including OAuth 2.0, JWT verification, single sign-on (SSO), and machine-to-machine authentication.
• Familiarity with agentic development and practical experience using AI coding agents to investigate, build, and ship software while carefully reviewing their output.
• Ability to write effective tests that validate fixes and prevent regressions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear status updates, incident reports, pull request descriptions, and actionable documentation.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Backend NestJS Developer based in Brazil.

We are seeking an experienced backend developer to maintain and enhance a live, business-critical microservices platform. In this fully remote role, you will combine production support with hands-on feature development, taking ownership of issues and improvements from investigation through deployment. You will work across distributed services and integrations with external platforms, helping ensure system reliability, data integrity, and seamless business operations. Working closely with product and QA teams, you will contribute to technical decisions, clarify requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will also use AI coding agents as part of an increasingly agentic development workflow, balancing speed with careful testing and code quality.
