About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled AWS Data Engineer with strong experience in Python, SQL, and AWS cloud services to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise with Lambda, data pipelines, and cloud-based reporting solutions, and will be comfortable working in fast-paced, data-driven environments.

Important Note

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles, solid experience with AWS services, and B2+ English proficiency.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years as a Data Engineer or similar roles
• Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, etc.)
• Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of Python and SQL
• Data Processing: Familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop is a plus
• Database Experience: Working knowledge of databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle
• BI Tools: Exposure to Tableau, QlikView, or Power BI is desirable
• Finance Knowledge: Understanding of investment products (Equities, Futures, FX, Fixed Income, Swaps, etc.) is preferred
• Other Tools: Familiarity with platforms like Bloomberg, FactSet, or Aladdin is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Automate and manage data flows for portfolio analytics systems
• Design and implement new reports for multiple stakeholders using various development tools
• Ensure timely delivery of data across platforms in collaboration with internal teams
• Support and enhance existing data processes and codebases
• Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation across systems
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in data architecture and reporting capabilities
