Globant is searching for a motivated and experienced Senior+ Data Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures utilizing Google Cloud Platform tools.
• Collaborate with product and analytics teams to understand data needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Enable seamless data integration, transformation, and migration to facilitate analytics.
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility by optimizing workflows.
• Maintain and innovate data infrastructure, adhering to governance and security best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Skills Required

• At least 7 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based platforms.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or SQL.
• Experience with large datasets and storage solutions like Google Cloud Storage and Firestore.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English (B2 level or higher preferred).
