Job summary

Loadsmart, a Chicago-based logistics technology company with a globally distributed remote team, is seeking an Associate Pricing Analyst to support the RFP and contract pricing workflow. You will work closely with Sales, Account Management, Carrier Sales, Pricing Strategy and Product to prepare analysis files, track awards, and ensure timely bid responses.

This role requires sharp attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and strong Excel/Sheets skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a fast paced, results driven role.
• Experience with process or bid management.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure deadline driven environment.
• Proficient in verbal and written English.
• Transportation/logistics background is a plus.

• Facilitate and support sales and operations teams with RFP and bid management for new and incumbent customers.
• Update and track progress on initiatives through internal systems.
• Coordinate with sales on questions to raise with the customer.
• Run point on final bid submission to third party portals with Account Manager.
• Manage daily RFP pipeline from pre-bid activities to internal review.
• Assist with customer mini-bids in collaboration with account managers.
• Assist in bulk spot pricing requests and other contract-related analyses.

We are looking to add an Associate Pricing Analyst to the team. The person will process incoming contract requests from customers. They will handle the entire process from creating our analysis files based on what we received to tracking awards and pricing feedback internally. You have an eye for detail, and are well equipped to handle high pressure situations with firm deadlines. You will work closely with our Sales, Account Management, Carrier Sales, Pricing Strategy, and Product teams to assist in improving the Request for Proposal (“RFP”) process (i.e. Contract Pricing), and meeting customer expectations.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

• Facilitate and support sales and operations teams with RFP and bid management for new and incumbent customers

• Update and track our progress on initiatives through various internal systems

• Coordinate directly with sales if there are questions/ issues that need to be brought up with the customer

• Run point on final bid submission to third party portals in collaboration with assigned Account Manager

• Daily management of RFP pipeline document from pre-bid activities, to initial bid intake, to internal review process with assigned account manager

• Assist with customer mini-bids in collaboration with account managers when requested

• Assist in bulk spot pricing requests and other contract-related adhoc analyses as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience in a fast paced, results driven role

• Working with process or bid management

• Managing strong communication and organization skills

• Working in a high-pressure deadline driven environment

• Managing advanced Microsoft excel / Google Sheets skills alongside and within groups to maintain a collaborative work environment

• Proficient in verbal and written English

• Transportation/logistics background is a plus.
