Control Risks is seeking an Associate Consultant to conduct sophisticated public record and open-source research for pre-deal due diligence, litigation support, asset traces, and other investigations in South America. The role includes guiding researchers and subcontractors, and developing special projects as the BI team grows.
Requirements include at least 3 years in investigations, fluency in English and Spanish, a Bachelor's degree or higher, and strong writing and analytical skills.
Control Risks is seeking a dynamic, curious and driven individual to be part of a team conducting business intelligence and investigations in South America.
An Associate Consultant conducts sophisticated public record and open-source research, online monitoring and human intelligence gathering for pre-deal due diligence, litigation support matters, asset traces, conflict of interest investigations, threat-based investigations and anti-bribery/anti-corruption and other compliance-driven inquiries in the South America region.
The successful candidate will be a critical thinker with strong writing and communication skills, a deft, experienced user of investigative databases, and an alum of an established corporate investigations firm or unit. This is not an AML/KYC role, nor is it high-volume due diligence.
The Associate Consultant will be interested in learning more about the investigations industry and will be comfortable guiding researchers, as well as directing subcontractors on discreet tasks. There are opportunities to develop specialties and to take on special projects as the Business Intelligence team continues to grow and develop.
