BAYES is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to oversee and review architectural drawings, ensuring alignment with design intent and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate with consultants, engineers and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project schedules.
The role requires proficiency in ACAD, Revit, Navisworks and Enscape, with hands-on BIM coordination and documentation for project handover after completion.
This role involves coordinating and reviewing all architectural drawings, including design drawings and shop drawings, to ensure they are consistent, accurate and comply with the design intent, contract and authority compliances. You will be responsible for timely scheduling and issuance of design drawings and shop drawings aligned with project schedule and construction activities.

Scheduling and issuing design drawings and shop drawings in alignment with project schedule and construction activities
Working closely with architectural consultants, structural and M&E engineers and various subcontractors to resolve architectural and technical issues and ensure smooth integration of different disciplines
Assisting in the preparation and submission of architectural drawings and documents to relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals such as Corenet X Gateways, Building Plan (BP), Works Permit (WP), Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) and Certificate of Statutory Completion (CSC)
Providing technical support to the construction team on architectural matters, resolving design discrepancies and addressing site-related architectural issues
Maintaining proper documentation of design changes, site instructions (CVIs/RFIs/SDAs) and correspondences
Attending technical meetings and internal and external design coordination meetings to report outcomes and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders
Providing technical support to construction team on the submission and approval for architectural materials, finishes and samples to ensure they meet specified design requirements
Coordinating architectural and consultant drawings using Revit, Naviswork and Enscape to identify clashes and ensure consistency in construction documents
Compiling and handing over architectural as-built BIM Model and drawings upon project completion
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture or a related field
At least 3 years or more of experience as a Design Coordinator or Architectural Coordinator working on Design and Build condominium projects for A1 main contractors
Proficiency in software (ACAD, Revit, Naviswork, Enscape)
Familiar with local authorities (URA, BCA, NEA, PUB, SCDF, LTA, Nparks) requirements
Strong knowledge of architectural design detailing and construction processes
Ability to build good relationships with consultants, work independently and as part of a team
Coordination of Architectural Drawings: Coordinating and reviewing all architectural drawings, including design drawings and shop drawings. Ensure they are consistent, accurate and comply with the design intent, contract & authority compliances. Responsible for timely scheduling and issuance of design drawings and shop drawings align with project schedule and construction activities.
Liaison with Consultants and Subcontractors: Working closely with architectural consultants/structural/M&E engineers and various subcontractors to resolve architectural and technical issues and ensure smooth integration of different disciplines.

A Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Architecture or a related field.
