Qualificações

• Experiência profissional mínima de 2 anos em contabilidade relevante.

Your role at Vantive

The Analyst, Accountant is responsible for activities related to Accounting to Report (A2R) with emphasis in inventory management process such as costing, reserves, revaluation, on hand, discards, supply chain finance, and others. The role requires understanding of reconciliation process, accounting analysis, task oriented, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with other finance and non-finance teams. In addition, requires meeting compliance requirements and work with high quality and delivery on time focus.

What you'll be doing

1. Account for Inventory Technical accounting areas such as On Hand, In transit, WIP, FG, MRO, E&O Reserves, Cap&Roll, etc.
2. Prepare manual journals as needed with adequate supporting documentation and certification.
3. Prepare inventory account reconciliations in Blackline per established deadlines, follow up to resolve open items.
4. Perform month end close (MEC) activities timely and accurately.
5. Provide audit support as needed.
6. Support regional and global reporting requirements such as monthly Balance Sheet analysis.
7. Support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes.
8. Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls.
9. Support local, regional, and global projects, as required.
10. Identify and implement process improvements.
11. Create, maintain all DTPs, SOP, Critical Spreadsheets to execute the job activities.
12. Provide support to close open items.
13. Perform Inventory Analysis for Stakeholders in a timely manner.
14. Comply with Corporate Policies and Controls.

What you'll bring

1. Technical Accounting Degree in accounting, Bachelor’s degree in accounting is a plus.
2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
3. Background in Cost and/or Inventory accounting.
4. Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or audit.
5. Analytical skills.
6. Communication skills, diplomatic, flexible and “can do” mind-set.
7. Fluent in both written and spoken English (B2 +).
8. Advance reporting tools including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Query.
9. ERP System knowledge (JDE is a plus).
10. Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
11. Experience in JDE, Blackline, Alteryx and W-Desk is an advantage.
12. Additional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end, projects support, audit assessment or ad-hoc requirements) may be required. Also, and on an exceptional basis, the role may require work on public holidays.
