Lever, Inc. is partnering with a client to hire a PL Data Analyst based in Brazil. This mid-level role focuses on turning large datasets into actionable business insights using advanced SQL, GCP/BigQuery, and Power BI.

You will explore data, validate quality, and communicate results to stakeholders across technical and business teams. The position offers remote work across Brazil, a PJ contract, and opportunities to contribute to data projects with autonomy and impact on decision-making

Qualificações

• Mid-level Data Analyst with proven experience.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to build complex queries.
• Experience with data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with GCP/BigQuery and Power BI.

Responsabilidades

• Build, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries for extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
• Perform exploratory analyses and diagnostics to address business questions and identify insights.

This is an opportunity for a mid-level Data Analyst to turn complex datasets into actionable business insights.
You will work closely with large volumes of information, investigating patterns, inconsistencies, risks, and opportunities.
The role combines advanced SQL, data exploration, validation, and business-oriented analysis in a dynamic environment.
You will have significant autonomy to understand problems, develop analytical solutions, and deliver recommendations.
Your work will directly contribute to data quality, reliable decision-making, and the evolution of ongoing projects.
The position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and connecting technical analysis with business needs.
You will also collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, communicating findings clearly and effectively.

Accountabilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
• Perform exploratory analyses and diagnostics to address business questions and identify relevant insights.
• Investigate discrepancies and inconsistencies across data sources, identifying root causes and proposing appropriate corrections.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns, opportunities, risks, and trends that can support business decisions.
• Develop ad hoc studies and analytical solutions with a high degree of independence and limited day-to-day direction.
• Ensure the quality, reliability, consistency, and traceability of information used in analyses and reports.
• Document business rules, assumptions, methodologies, findings, and analytical results to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
• Present conclusions, insights, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prioritize and execute project demands independently while adapting to a dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical solutions, data practices, and project outcomes through data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Mid-Level Data Analyst or in a comparable data-focused role.
• Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to create complex queries and optimize them for performance.
• Practical experience with GCP and BigQuery, or comparable cloud data platforms and analytical environments.
• Strong knowledge of data manipulation, cleansing, validation, and quality assurance practices.
• Experience with relational databases and fundamental data modeling concepts.
• Experience conducting exploratory analysis and investigating business problems through data.
• Knowledge of Power BI for consuming, validating, and interpreting business indicators and dashboards.
• Understanding of query performance and optimization best practices.
• Experience documenting analytical processes, business rules, assumptions, and results.
• Proficiency with SQL, GCP/BigQuery, Power BI, and Excel.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning, with attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to quickly understand business contexts and data environments and translate ambiguous questions into practical analytical solutions.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings and recommendations to different audiences.
• Autonomy, organization, adaptability, and a proactive approach to managing priorities and delivering results.
