Siemens in Brazil seeks a Senior Data Analyst (Power BI) to own BI solutions end-to-end, from data preparation to reporting, within our financial controlling area.

You will design data models, develop complex DAX, and manage Fabric- and Power BI-based artifacts across Dev/Test/Prod pipelines. This role requires English and Portuguese fluency and offers a hybrid work arrangement in Jundiaí or São Paulo.

Qualificações

• Senior experience in Power BI and BI solution development.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and modern data architecture patterns.
• Advanced English and Portuguese communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own BI solutions end-to-end, from data preparation to reporting and delivery.
• Build reusable Power Query patterns with parameters, functions, and multi-source data handling.
• Design clean star-schema data models with role-playing dimensions and optimized storage modes.
• Develop intermediate-to-advanced DAX measures including time intelligence, iterators, USERELATIONSHIP, dynamic formats, and disconnected tables.
• Create advanced visualizations with dynamic titles, tooltips, drill-through, and field parameters for dynamic KPIs and columns.
• Manage Power BI Service workspaces, apps, gateways, and Dev/Test/Prod deployment pipelines.
• Optimize model and visual performance; apply incremental refresh and performance tuning best practices.
• Build and optimize Fabric artifacts including Dataflow Gen2, Lakehouse and Data Warehouse tables/views, Pipelines, and Notebooks.
• Apply lakehouse medallion architecture concepts (bronze/silver/gold).
• Ensure high standards of delivery quality and reliability.

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Power BI) with experience in BI projects using visualization tools such as Tableau, Qliksense, and Power BI, to work in our financial controlling area. Responsibilities include gathering user requirements, participating in meetings to define database layouts, creating charts, dashboards, and reports to meet the needs of business areas.

What requirements are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Database Management, or related fields.
• Senior experience in Power BI and BI solution development
• Strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and modern data architecture patterns
• Advanced English and Portuguese communication skills.

Local de trabalho e modelo de contratação:

• CLT (Brazilian labor law), hybrid model (work from home some days of the week!)
• Jundiaí or São Paulo, for professionals from other states the work model will be remote.
