Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL Database Administrator for a Brazil-based role. You will administer and optimize Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL and RDS databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across production environments.

You will handle installation, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management while improving SQL performance, implementing indexing strategies, and tuning queries to support business applications.

• Experience administering Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience administering Amazon RDS databases.
• Strong SQL query analysis and optimization skills.
• Experience with indexing strategies and query tuning.

In this role you will

Database Administration

• Provision, configure, monitor, and maintain Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL and Amazon RDS databases.
• Perform database installation, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor database health, capacity, and performance metrics.

Performance Optimization

• Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database workloads.
• Implement indexing strategies and query tuning best practices.
• Manage connection pooling and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.

Mandatory Skills

• Experience administering Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience administering Amazon RDS databases.
• Strong database installation, upgrade, patching, and lifecycle management experience.
• Experience monitoring database health, capacity, and performance.
• Strong SQL query analysis and optimization skills.
• Experience with indexing strategies and query tuning.
• Experience managing connection pooling.
• Expertise troubleshooting database and infrastructure performance issues.
