The role requires strong technical fluency, execution discipline, and the ability to operate at strategic and delivery levels in regulated environments such as GxP.

Responsabilidades

• Align AI initiatives with enterprise priorities.
• Drive portfolio actions, decisions, and follow-ups across AI programs.
• Identify interdependencies, risks, and capacity constraints; drive resolution.
• Maintain standardized tracking for portfolio actions, statuses, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Track and report portfolio KPIs for leadership visibility.
• Produce executive-ready reporting for leadership forums.
• Implement and evolve portfolio governance mechanisms.
• Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management practices, tools, and reporting maturity.
• Facilitate portfolio-level forums, working sessions, and reviews.
• Influence without direct authority to remove blockers and maintain momentum across teams.
• As needed, lead projects within CMC Digital with plans, milestones, RAID logs, and governance materials.

We are seeking an experienced AI Technical Project Manager with familiarity with GxP, validation or regulated environments

The Role

The Cross-CMC AI Portfolio Technical Project Manager will drive the Cross-CMC AI Portfolio, a cross-functional group established to ensure appropriate investments in AI solutions within CMC.

This role is accountable for managing business use case intake and prioritization, driving portfolio actions, ensuring transparent tracking and reporting, and maintaining consistent communication pathways with functional area representatives and leadership.

The position partners closely with CMC business and digital leaders to ensure delivery alignment, value realization, and compliance with Moderna standards.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical fluency, excellent execution discipline, and the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and delivery levels.

Key Responsibilities

Manage intake of AI use cases from CMC business and digital leadership, ensuring initiatives are clearly defined, prioritized, and actively managed.

Ensure alignment between AI initiatives, business outcomes, and enterprise priorities.

Drive portfolio-level actions, decisions, and follow-ups across multiple AI programs and workstreams.

Identify interdependencies, risks, and capacity constraints across the portfolio, proactively driving resolution.

Maintain standardized tracking for portfolio actions, statuses, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Track and report portfolio KPIs to provide visibility into overall portfolio health and status.

Produce executive-ready reporting for leadership forums.

Implement and evolve portfolio governance mechanisms, including intake, prioritization, and escalation processes.

Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management practices, tools, and reporting maturity.

Facilitate portfolio-level forums, working sessions, and reviews.

Influence without direct authority to drive accountability, remove blockers, and maintain momentum across teams.

As needed, lead projects within CMC Digital by:

Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, milestone tracking, RAID logs, and governance materials.

Driving execution of project activities and providing regular status updates.

Escalating risks, issues, and key decisions to appropriate governing bodies.

Ensuring projects adhere to applicable regulatory, validation, security, and data governance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM or another relevant academic discipline.

5+ years of experience in technical project management and/or portfolio management.

Demonstrated experience building and maintaining portfolio-level reporting and dashboards.

Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

Strong compliance-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with GxP, validation, or other regulated environments.

Experience supporting AI and/or machine learning initiatives within life sciences organizations.

Demonstrated success working independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments.

Experience operating in a highly matrixed organization.
