Akaer in Brazil seeks a Senior Aeronautical Electrical Systems Designer to lead the development, integration and detailing of electrical systems for civil and military aeronautical programs.

The professional will be responsible for technical leading design activities, proposing robust solutions for highly complex systems, and acting as a technical reference for the team, contributing to all phases of the product development cycle, from conception to certification.

Responsabilidades

• Develop aeronautical electrical installations in a 3D CAD environment.
• Prepare installation layouts, integration drawings and BOMs.

• Develop wiring diagrams and EWIS routing.
• Support testing, qualification and certification activities.
• Interact with clients, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams on technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and improve processes.

Summary Description

We are looking for a Senior Aeronautical Electrical Systems Designer to work on the development, integration, and detailing of electrical systems in civil and military aeronautical programs. The professional will be responsible for technical leading design activities, proposing robust solutions for highly complex systems, and acting as a technical reference for the team, contributing to all phases of the product development cycle, from conception to certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop aeronautical hydromechanical installation projects in a 3D CAD environment;
• Prepare installation layouts, integration drawings, and technical documentation;
• Develop solutions for the installation of hydraulic, environmental (AMS/ECS), fuel, propulsion, and other embedded mechanical systems;
• Specify aeronautical components, materials, piping, hoses, connections, and hardware;
• Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and engineering documentation;
• Develop integration solutions between hydromechanical systems, structures, electrical systems, and avionics;
• Perform systemintegration and segregation analyses;
• Support the manufacturing, installation, and integration of systems;
• Support development testing, qualification, and certification activities;
• Participate inthe analysis of technical requirements and their implementation in the project;
• Interact with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams in defining technical solutions;
• Prepare engineering documentation according to internal processes and certification requirements;
• Provide technical support to junior professionals and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Requirements

Education

• Technical course in Electrical, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics or related areas.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering or related area

Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in the design of aeronautical electrical systems.
• Proven experience in aircraft development, modification or certification programs.

• FAR/CS 23 or 25standards;
• ARP4754A, ARP4761 and DO-160;
• ANAC, FAA or EASA certification processes.

Languages

• Intermediate English (reading and interpreting technical documentation).
• Advanced English will be considered a plus.

Availability

• National and international travel, when necessary.
• Willingness to work different shifts as needed by projects.
