Summary Description We are looking for a Senior Aeronautical Electrical Systems Designer to work on the development, integration, and detailing of electrical systems in civil and military aeronautical programs. The professional will be responsible for technical leading design activities, proposing robust solutions for highly complex systems, and acting as a technical reference for the team, contributing to all phases of the product development cycle, from conception to certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop aeronautical hydromechanical installation projects in a 3D CAD environment;
- Prepare installation layouts, integration drawings, and technical documentation;
- Develop solutions for the installation of hydraulic, environmental (AMS/ECS), fuel, propulsion, and other embedded mechanical systems;
- Specify aeronautical components, materials, piping, hoses, connections, and hardware;
- Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and engineering documentation;
- Develop integration solutions between hydromechanical systems, structures, electrical systems, and avionics;
- Perform system integration and segregation analyses;
- Support the manufacturing, installation, and integration of systems;
- Support development testing, qualification, and certification activities;
- Participate in the analysis of technical requirements and their implementation in the project;
- Interact with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams in defining technical solutions;
- Prepare engineering documentation according to internal processes and certification requirements;
- Provide technical support to junior professionals and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Requirements
Education – Technical course in Electrical, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics or related areas. Desirable: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering or related area
Experience
- Over 10 years of experience in the design of aeronautical electrical systems.
- Proven experience in aircraft development, modification or certification programs.
Technical Knowledge – Electrical Systems Design Project
- Design and detailing of aeronautical electrical installations;
- Preparation and interpretation of electrical diagrams;
- Development of wiring diagrams;
- Preparation of wire lists and bills of materials (BOM);
- Design of wiring routing (EWIS);
- Installation of onboard electrical and electronic equipment;
- Definition of supports, fixings, and mechanical interfaces;
- Specification of hardware, materials, connectors, and aeronautical components;
- Reading and interpretation of technical drawings and engineering documentation.
Aeronautical Knowledge
- Aeronautical Product Development Process;
- EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System);
- Integration and segregation of systems;
- Aeronautical manufacturing and assembly process;
- Best practices for the installation of aeronautical systems;
- Development, qualification, and certification testing;
- Application of Service Bulletins and major modifications (STC);
- Certification process for civil and military aircraft.
Tools – Desirable experience with tools such as:
- CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE;
- E3.Series (Zuken) or IGE+XAO;
- Microsoft Office.

- Advanced English will be considered a plus.
Availability
- National and international travel, when necessary.
