CloudWalk is seeking a finance professional in Brazil to support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and to ensure accurate accounting records. You will work with FP&A, treasury, risk, and external auditors to drive compliant financial reporting across CPCs, BR GAAP, BACEN, and IFRS.

The role requires strong Excel skills, external audit experience, and a problem-solving mindset to optimize processes and internal controls within a growing fintech environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields, with CRC in progress or active.
• Experience with accounting close and analysis of accounts.
• Knowledge of CPCs, BR GAAP, BACEN GAAP, and IFRS.
• Experience with financial routines, treasury, bank reconciliation, cash flow, or interface with FP&A.
• Experience with external audit.
• Advanced Excel.
• Analytical ability to interpret accounting and financial numbers.
• Strong communication, organization, ownership mindset, and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Support monthly, semi-annual, and annual accounting close.
• Execute and review reconciliations, journal entries, provisions, and reclassifications.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Ensure correct application of Brazilian accounting standards, BCB rules, CPCs, and IFRS.
• Prepare and review financial statements, notes, and management reports.
• Collaborate with Finance and Treasury on bank reconciliation, cash flow, and investments.
• Support FP&A with results analyses, budget vs forecast, and understanding accounting impacts.
• Ensure financial operations are reflected in accounting and respond to audits.
• Contribute to process improvements, internal controls, and automation.
• Participate in accounting/financial analysis of new products or processes.
• Interact with partner areas to resolve issues with agility and quality.

About This Role

• Support the monthly, semi-annual, and annual accounting close.
• Execute and review accounting reconciliations, journal entries, provisions, reclassifications, and analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Support the correct application of Brazilian accounting standards, Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) rules, CPCs, and IFRS.
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements, explanatory notes, and management reports.
• Work together with Finance and Treasury on topics such as bank reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and financial investments.
• Support FP&A in results analyses, actual vs. budget variations, budget, forecast, and understanding of the accounting and financial impacts of operations.
• Ensure that financial operations are correctly reflected in accounting.
• Handle internal and external audit requests, ensuring organization, quality, and traceability of information.
• Support improvements to processes, internal controls, financial policies, and automation.
• Participate in the accounting and financial analysis of new products, operations, or process changes.
• Interact with partner areas to resolve operational, accounting, and financial matters with agility and quality.

What You Need To Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields, with a preference for Accounting. Active CRC or in the process of obtaining it, if the degree is in Accounting. Experience in accounting close and analysis of accounting accounts. Knowledge of CPCs, BR GAAP, BACEN GAAP, and IFRS. Experience with financial routines, treasury, bank reconciliation, cash flow, or interface with FP&A. Experience with external audit. Advanced Excel. Analytical ability to interpret accounting and financial numbers. Good communication, organization, ownership mindset, and focus on continuous improvement. Proven experience in leveraging your work with AI.

Nice to Have

Experience in fintechs, banks, payment companies, financial institutions, or regulated companies. Knowledge of COSIF, Bacen, or standards applicable to the financial sector. Experience with ERPs, BI tools, databases, or process automation. Knowledge of SAP (Public, HANA, and S/4). Knowledge of SQL (creating and running queries). Participation in projects involving the structuring of internal controls, accounting close, or financial processes. Advanced English.
