Jobtailor in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, seeks an accounting professional to perform journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly closings. You will prepare and review financial statements, ensure CPC standards are met, and support internal and external audits while coordinating with Tax and Finance teams.

The ideal candidate has an accounting degree in progress or completed, experience in accounting, and strong Excel skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and timely deliverables.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (completed or in progress).
• Experience in accounting, preferably at an accounting firm.
• Knowledge of accounting routines, reconciliations and monthly close.
• Familiarity with Brazilian accounting standards (CPC).
• Experience with accounting ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform journal entries and account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Participate in monthly and annual accounting closings.
• Prepare, analyze and review trial balances, balance sheets, income statements (DRE) and other financial statements as applicable to the level.
• Ensure proper accounting classification and application of current standards (CPC and, when applicable, IFRS).
• Analyze variances and consistency of accounting accounts, proposing adjustments when necessary.
• Support and/or lead responses to internal and external audits.
• Maintain interface with Tax, Finance and other internal teams.
• Manage provisions, depreciation, amortization, assets and liabilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Work with a focus on deadlines, organization and standardization of Karavela's processes.
