Farfetch is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the monthly close and financial reporting across the global marketplace. You will manage accounting processes, reconciliations, and drive financial transformation initiatives.

The role requires 3–5 years in accounting/finance, strong Excel and ERP experience, and English fluency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize costs and profitability.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Accounting or Financial Reporting.
  • Strong Excel and ERP systems experience.
  • Fluent in English; good communication and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of IFRS is a plus; SOX controls experience is advantageous.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will guide the required process and policy amendments that are necessary for prompt, worldwide, and smooth execution of the standards. You will have an important role in the accountancy of our company, working together with the team to achieve the goals for the monthly closing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Prepare and post accounting entries with accuracy and timeliness

  • Support the month-end and year-end close activities

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items under supervision

  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other statutory reporting requirements

  • Support the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits

  • Perform accounting controls and SOX activities in accordance with established procedures

  • Process and analyse accounting data, ensuring completeness and accuracy

  • Assist in identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation

  • Contribute to process improvements and standardisation initiatives within the Accounting team

  • Collaborate with other Finance teams and business stakeholders to resolve accounting queries

WHO YOU ARE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting or Financial Reporting

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles; knowledge of IFRS is a plus

  • Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is an advantage

  • Experience with SOX controls is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
